“Angela, thank you so much for the extensive work you and your team have done to help us achieve justice.  There have been many obstacles put in our path but you were the one that was able to get the government to finally acknowledge that we deserve compensation for the loss of our babies, taken by force.   

I never thought this day would come. A few mothers have been fighting for many years but we had no power. Your efforts in securing the support of the opposition made it impossible for the government to continue to ignore us and hope we would just go away and die.

The words “thank you” are not big enough to express what I feel.  The apology by the liberals were just  hollow words.  Words said to appease us.  Words said to end the matter.  13 years later the government is finally being held accountable for the trauma inflicted upon us.  My story matters and I am believed.”
